EB sent the wrong item and when we called and tried to get the right one, they were intentionally unhelpful. We asked to speak to a supervisor and the customer service person on the phone hung up on us.

We called back and another representative told us that we would have to buy another shirt and pay for it. They would credit us for the wrong shirt when they received it, EVEN THOUGH this was their screw up in the first place. We were concerned that the shirt we wanted would be sold out before they got the wrong shirt back and sent us the right one, but they didn't care. We had to buy two shirts to get the one we wanted.

We will not buy from Eddie Bauer again. The company deserves to go in the dumper.

I had exactly the same experience. No even exchange.

You have to buy a new one and then get a store credit for the one you are sending back! So you end up spending double.
