I wish you had a half star! I purchased a pair of leather slippers five years ago and they are fantastic however I finally wore them out. I replaced them this summer - exact style number and size but they do not fit. After spending 2 hours between emails and phone calls I have received zero satisfaction including escalating my case to a supervisor. Do not believe their “ lifetime” guarantee because it is a sham. They told me I do not have a licensed product and I could not return these to an Eddie Bauer store- look at my photos. Thank you.

Eddie Bauer - Never order online

Details
Ordered a jacket 12 days ago and repeated attempts at customer- no -service, no one can tell me when it will ship. Finally after multiple emails some jerk replied it might ship in 2020. The exact same jacket is available on Amazon with guaranteed 2 day delivery. How is that possible? I don’t know because my request to talk to a supervisor have been ignored. Screw you Eddie Bauer. Hope you go out of business soon.

Just cancel the order with Bauer and order it at Amazon if you really want the jacket. Any company with bad customer service really does not need our business in the first place. I have always found it astonishing that people would order expensive clothing from a place like Eddie Bauer in the first place, unless they want to show off the name on the clothing, similar to people who spend money on expensive tennis shoes because of the name.

Obviously in Phillipines. Did not get my first name right kept calling me Carol and my name is Karen. Had to keep putting me on hold. They tried really hard to help me but it became not worth getting an item and saving $7.00. I had an order in for approx $50.00 wouldn't let me add an item on which is their policy. I love their clothes but they have really done a disservice to their customers with their customer service.

Details
I received my pants from Eddie Bauer but they were in the wrong size so I just wanted to exchange for the correct size. I called customer service and the person on the phone barely spoke English. She could not understand and was trying to reorder the pants but in the wrong color. It was a simple exchange - same pant style and color, just different pant length. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she would not transfer me. So i asked to speak to someone else and she said there was no one else available. It was the most frustrated customer service call I ever had. I have been shopping at Eddie Bauer for decades but will be finding a new place to buy pants.

I received my online order quickly but needed to exchange. There is no return label in the box. So far I have emailed, texted, and phoned their customer service. They are promising the label will come in 24-48 hours via email, and nothing so far - it's been 10 days. It takes them several days to respond to an email. There is no automatic generation of labels on the website. Considering you can get instantaneous returns and exchanges with plenty of other companies, this level of service is completely unacceptable. Never again!

Eddie Bauer - Garbage Customer Service

Placed an order online for a men's winter coat. Decided to call the local store after placing the order and the manager at the store was great and raved about the coat. He gave us some great insight on sizing and we decided to call back and try to change the order as you cannot do this online. What an ABSOLUTE JOKE of customer service. They claim the order is finalized and cannot do anything for us. This was literally 15 minutes after placing the order. 3 people and 45 minutes later of people we cannot understand and cannot get our names correct we sit on hold. 0 stars What a joke

Ordered online- charged my card immediately, processed my order 2 days later- and 7 days alter they still havn't shipped my item. I contacted customer service and they say its still processing but "packed and ready to shipped". When i placed my order it said it would arrive by a certain date. Customer service tells me I should receive it in the next week. 2 weeks to receive and online order? no thankyou. I would of purchased my coat from a different company that can fullfill there online order requests.

Eddie Bauer is trying to lose business I guess. They don't provide order information via email. You have to GUESS if your order went through. then when you call, you get an INEPT person on the phone who is clueless. This is a disgraceful way to run a company that has been in business for so long. is the CEO aware of this?? No idea. But obviously from the amount of complaints here, it does not matter.
