I have ordered from Eddie Bauer for over 40 years and I have become very frustrated with the time it takes for your company to fill and mail items of clothing. I order from a few other clothing stores who do not have this problem!
It is supposed to take 5-7 days but the last three times I have ordered (in the last two months) it has taken two weeks and usually longer to have the items delivered! I get an email notification that the item has shipped and then the delivery gets extended day after day! Luckily, I do not need these items for a few weeks (for a trip abroad) but if I depended on Eddie Bauer to deliver on time I would definitely NOT USE Eddie Bauer for time sensitive items. When I track the items, sometimes they can sit in Phoenix for 2 or 3 days!
I know that weather has not been a factor as the package travels across the U.S. What is your excuse?

No credit given on returned merchandise.
Returned a shirt on December 4, 2023 and it was noted on the return label that a credit would be applied to my account. I called Customer Service on December 18th and was told that it would take 2-3 weeks to show up on my statement I received by statement today Febuary 1, 2024 and there was no credit from Eddie Bower.
I called again and again the Customer Service person said they would apply the credit today. I also asked for an email confirmation and they said they would, asked if the would recite my email address. They did have it.
Absolutely ridiculous customer service. Goodbye Eddit Bower forever.

Ripped off by Eddie Bauer
placed an order during Black Friday sales. The order sat in limbo and then when I got tracking the item never came.
Showed as being returned which I never initiated. Also, didnt get the money. So I emailed a couple times, no answer, did live chat crickets. Called them up today; the first guy told me he would issue a return for the order and I would have to reorder.
So he put me through to sales and said hed take money off and match the price I paid. Sales lady takes my call and they reviewed my previous order she took my info to pay, said there would be $35 charge for express but she could remove it afterwards, and Ill get my order by Friday. Well the order came through and I was charged for the shipping AND she ordered the wrong size. So I called again.
The next guy tells me he cant adjust my order from 1 hour ago, my option is to cancel it and reorder AGAIN and be out more money for awhile or I can wait till it gets here and exchange it in store. Yeah that sounds like a great idea, Merry Christmas, now go exchange your gift so I opted to cancel, he said I would receive an email in a few hours. I didnt. So I called again.
They tell me its not cancelled yet, and the money could take 5-7 business days to come back to me. Awesome, Im now out a lot of money.. also he tells me I wasnt likely to get it before Christmas anyway!!! They lied to me.
The last one was honest mind you. He stated he credited me back the money for that order, and sent an email confirmation but Ill believe when I see it. NEVER ordering from them again. I wasted so much time dealing with them today and I have nothing to show for it other than waiting for money to return to me.
Oh I didnt get credited the whole amount I paid when I checked my email he sent.. do not order from Eddie Bauer online.

2 brand new flannel mens shirt shrunk after following the directions on washing.
Brought back to wrentham store, manager was rude and refused to give credit. We had sales receipt and have spent a lot of money at Eddie Bauer due to my husband being tall.
We asked the store manager for her name and she refuse to give it. Says company policy says she doesnt have too. Cashiers had name tag on but manger didnt.
She says she was the manager heavy set, short, dark hair with glasses. I shop a lot in this store and never been treated this way.
I tried to explain to her but she wouldnt listen.
All we wanted was a store credit because the 2 new shirts shrunk. Please call 781-910-****

I hope you were able to get the refund or exchange you deserved. The manager needs training and testing to assure she knows the policy! It is not subjective!
